Compact, about the size of an ice-hockey
puck and emitting ultra-bright light through 360º from an
array of 16 LEDs visible for up to 10 miles, PowerFlare
Safety Light units are waterproof and tough enough to
withstand being run over by a Fire Engine.
Unlike torches with alkaline batteries or
chemical light-sticks, PowerFlare units can handle extreme
temperatures and can be used in HAZMAT situations
(intrinsically safe).
PowerFlare Safety Lights are available in
3 body colours and six LED colours, including infrared, with
9 easy-to-change flash patterns including Morse ‘SOS’.
There are two versions of the PowerFlare
Safety Light units.
Easily stored and featuring a rugged
charger box equipped with 6 PowerFlare Safety Lights the
Rechargeable Six Pack kit is light, compact and about the
size of a laptop computer. It can be plugged into a vehicle
cigarette lighter or direct wired using the vehicles
existing wiring (12-24V DC) or, for charging elsewhere can
be plugged into a 120V socket with optional adaptor.
Multiple chargers can be used in the same vehicle. The
charger draws a minimal current, even when the units are
recharging. The ‘intelligent’ charger will also shut itself
off if it detects a vehicles battery is low.

The rechargeable units are designed for
daily use (smart charger; no ‘memory effect’), while the
replaceable units are ideal to keep ready in vehicle travel
compartments or with a first aid kit etc. Button operated,
PowerFlare units can be put into any standard traffic cone
to make them more visible. The amazing ruggedness and
brightness has made PowerFlare Safety Lights popular with
public safety agencies, utilities companies, local
authorities, haulage companies, road-side recovery
operators, and individual consumers alike.
